Kathmandu. The death toll from the flood in Bhote Koshi in Rasuwa has reached 177. So far, the bodies of 177 people have been found, police spokesperson (DIG) Abinarayan Kafle told Ratopati.
So far, the largest number of bodies have been found in the riverine areas of Chitwan. SSP Rajendra Dhamala of Bagmati Province Police Office informed that the bodies of 52 people have been found in Chitwan. According to him, so far, the bodies of 106 people have been found in the districts of Bagmati Province. Police are trying to identify the bodies found on the river banks in Gorkha and East Nawalparasi, which fall in Gandaki Province.
16 people were found dead in Rasuwa, the epicenter of the flood. SSP Dhamala informed that 17 people were found dead in Nuwakot and 21 in Dhading.
