Kathmandu — The global human community is being devastated by climate change, hunger, and poverty. A handful of individuals in the world have accumulated enormous amounts of wealth, which continues to grow day by day. Meanwhile, the poor are becoming trapped in even deeper poverty. This is creating human imbalance, and at the same time, powerful nations are forcibly imposing wars, which is becoming extremely dangerous for humanity.
Whether it is Ukraine fighting a war against Russia, or Hamas and Hezbollah fighting against Israel, at the center of it all is the United States.
The U.S. has not only granted Ukraine permission to wage war, but is also providing weapons, warships, aircraft, and other materials. On the other side, it is encouraging Israel to fire upon unarmed civilians. This is making a mockery of human rights and democracy.
From the long-standing political interference in independent Venezuela to the recent announcement of a $50 million bounty against its elected president, it is clear that America wants to impose conflict. The United Nations, which should be taking the initiative to end wars, is facing an existential crisis. It has become evident that the U.S. does not want peace in the world.
Ukraine, which is waiting for U.S. directives, must consider what will happen if America changes its stance. Similarly, Israel, carrying out shelling with U.S. support, should also think about what can be gained by killing unarmed civilians. This era is not one for war — it is a time to seek peaceful solutions. Global peace is an urgent necessity. The U.S. should correct itself. Shelling upon children, the elderly, women, the disabled, and the helpless must stop. Human rights must be ensured. The U.S. must immediately end any political interference in sovereign nations.
